Good points raised here, (or rather, those bits I could easily read). I suffer from color blindness (tritanopia in my case). I use Konqueror browser (not sure if that makes a difference), and a lot of this web page is hard for me to read. I know that it is not your problem really, however it would be nice if you would take into account us color challenged types whilst carrying out the next webpage redesign.
I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
